The Breeze Kings formed in October 1997 as a house band for Thursday nights at Northside Tavern. Four up-and-coming local blues players who barely knew each other came together out of a mutual love for classic 50s Chicago style blues. Currently they perform over 200 shows per year all over the eastern USA also performed on European tours. The Breeze Kings brand is, their exciting and authentic blend of Chicago blues, Delta blues. Breeze Kings have won Creative Loafings Best Blues Band in Atlanta award eight years (1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) and were top 10 finalists at the 2005 IBC competition in Memphis TN.
