Daniel "MUDCAT" Dudeck is the
heart of Northside, he brought the
Blues to the Northside Tavern. Danny
started and still runs the "Give It Back
Festivals" which celebrates our
inspiration, the men and women
who played the blues and got little
credit and less money. Mudcat has
3 CD's to his name and his Mom
does his web site. The full stage show
is a joy to behold, Danny and his
friends can also be seen and heard
Wednesday nights.
*Man oh man, what a great band. Horns, A+ songs,
stellar vocals and exceptional musicians. th\e band
mixes blues with a New Orleans feel....Hot horn
section. Two great CD's and a must see live show.
*Sean Costello is an Atlanta Blues musician who knows his blues heritage. See him live and you get the impression he's done this before in a past life. Performing in Atlanta since he was 14, Sean's a home town hero. His new release, "Cuttin In" is receiving impressive reviews from all over the country.
*Ellyn reminds us that Bill Sheffield played the first night of live music at the Northside Tavern when it was a "redneck" bar back in 1975. RingTail Rounder's new release is One Cent Candy and is highly recommended. On it you'll find songs that feel like good old friends along with Bill's monster acoustic slide and fingerpicking work, explosive vocals with a fine band. Mr. Frank Edwards
